LINTHICUM, Md. – CARE Pharmacies Cooperative Inc., one of the country’s fastest growing chains of independent community retail and specialty pharmacies, has made GrayRobinson, an AmLaw 200 full-service law and government consulting firm, its preferred provider of legal services. GrayRobinson shareholders Kenneth McArthur Jr. and Rupasri “Rupa” Lloyd will lead the  team supporting CARE.

CARE, ranked among Chain Drug Review’s Top 20 retail pharmacy chains, combines the quality of a trusted community pharmacy with the growth and stability of a national organization. It is dedicated to understanding patients’ special needs and the importance of providing personalized care and quality services. For more than 60 years, the CARE brand has been synonymous with quality, respect, and superior service.

GrayRobinson’s healthcare team has extensive experience working with pharmacy organizations and pharmacies in nearly every state across the U.S. Consequently, its attorneys and consultants understand the complex industry and challenging business environment in which CARE and its members operate and the unique legal and political issues they face.

“GrayRobinson, like CARE Pharmacies, combines local service with the experience and growth of a large organization behind them,” said CARE CEO Mike Wysong. “Ken and Rupa will be invaluable resources to our pharmacies, our patients, and the communities we serve.”

“As a result of my longstanding relationship with CARE Pharmacies, I have deep insight into the organization, which allows us to provide quality, efficient service,” said McArthur. “We are thrilled they’ve chosen GrayRobinson to serve in this capacity, and are excited for the years to come.”
