NEW YORK — Carol’s Daughter has expanded its hair care lineup with the new Rhassoul Clay Collection.

The hair and skin care brand, part of the L’Oréal USA Multi-Cultural Beauty division, said the Carol’s Daughter Rhassoul Clay Collection marks its first clay-based product line.

Carols Daughter Rhassoul Clay CollectionBlended with Moroccan rhassoul clay, aloe juice and cactus flower, the Rhassoul Clay line — a shampoo, a conditioner and a hair mask — is designed for active women who seek balance, sweat daily with their busy lifestyles, and need a regimen that fits their routine, according to Carol’s Daughter.

The formulas are made to purify and rebalance natural moisture for active women so their hair isn’t dry and dull with oily roots from being overworked and overwashed.

The Rhassoul Clay Sulfate-Free Shampoo ($11.50) is a moisturizing cleanser that gently draws out sweat and impurities without stripping the hair so it’s softer and more manageable. With a shine-boosting blend, Rhassoul Clay Enriching Conditioner ($13.50) revitalizes hair and restores essential moisture and softness to tired strands for healthier-looking hair.

And the Rhassoul Clay Softening Hair Mask ($13.50) is a velvety clay that absorbs excess oil and infuses deep moisture to soften and rejuvenate hair, the company said.

Carol’s Daughter Rhassoul Clay products began rolling out in January at CVS Pharmacy and Target stores nationwide.
