DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Celsius Holdings Inc. said its Celsius calorie-burning beverage is now available at Rite Aid drug stores nationwide.

The company said this week that Rite Aid stores are carrying three Celsius flavors: sparkling Orange and the noncarbonated Green Tea Raspberry Acai and Green Tea Peach Mango. Situated in the stores’ diet sections, the beverage is being sold in four-packs.

Also, Celsius Holdings said the beverage is being featured as part of the Rite Weight Plan, a free, online 10-week weight management program offered by the drug chain. Rite Aid late last month introduced a weight-loss guide and related online tools.

"We are thrilled to become part of the Rite Aid drug store chain," Kelly Michols, vice president of strategic sales at Celsius Holdings, said in a statement. "We commend Rite Aid’s commitment to offering quality healthy beverage products to their customers, and we feel that Celsius is a great addition to their merchandise mix."

According to the company, the Celsius beverage has been scientifically shown to burn up to 100 calories and more per can by raising metabolism and providing sustained energy. It contains no sugar, no preservatives, no high-fructose corn syrup, no aspartame, no artificial flavors and very low sodium. Celsius drinks are powered by MetaPlus, a proprietary blend of ingredients that includes green tea with EGCG, ginger, caffeine, calcium, chromium, and vitamins B and C.
