Clavis Insight acquired by Ascential

BOSTON and DUBLIN, Ireland — Clavis Insight, an e-commerce specialist serving product manufacturers, is being acquired by Ascential plc, an international, business-to-business information company.

Financial terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed. Plans call for Clavis Insight to become part of Ascential’s Information Services division alongside One Click Retail.

Boston-based Clavis Insight provides daily online store and digital channel analytics for global consumer products brands.  One Click Retail, based in the United States, provides sales and share estimates at the SKU level to help major brands optimize their e-commerce activities, especially on Amazon.

The companies noted that the integration of the two businesses stands to provide customers with actionable e-commerce insights and analytics solutions across online retailer sites worldwide.
