Print Friendly, PDF & Email

WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Caremark Corp. has launched an application for customers using Apple Inc.’s iPhone and other mobile devices.

Available as a free, downloadable application from iTunes and the Apple App Store, the CVS iPhone application gives customers access to the same features that are available through the CVS web site.

Users of the mobile app can locate stores and get detailed driving directions and maps; refill prescriptions from a personalized prescription history; transfer prescriptions from another pharmacy; access a Drug Information Center to get details about medication management; view the company’s weekly circular to create a custom shopping list; and make an appointment to get a flu vaccination.

“We have introduced the CVS/pharmacy mobile application to give customers the ability to manage prescriptions and access important health information from any location,” says Rob Price, senior vice president of marketing and chief marketing officer.
