Diplomat promotes Jennifer Hagerman to VP

FLINT, Mich. — Jennifer Hagerman has been promoted to vice president of education and quality at Diplomat Pharmacy Inc.

Diplomat said late Tuesday that in her expanded role, Hagerman will continue to lead and oversee Diplomat University, a company division that provides custom education and training to employees and external professionals on specialty pharmacy industry topics.

In addition, Diplomat University houses the quality assurance department, which focuses on programs that promote quality and patient safety, as well as Diplomat’s application for service excellence in accreditations and certifications by third-party agencies committed to best practices, including ACHC, ASHP, CPPA, The Joint Commission, URAC, VAWD and VIPPS.

Hagerman previously was senior director of education and quality at Diplomat. Before coming to the company, she served as an associate professor at Ferris State University College of Pharmacy, with a practice site at Hurley Medical Center. She also served for three years as adjunct faculty in the department of nursing at the University of Michigan-Flint.

Active in the pharmacy profession, Hagerman has served as a member of the Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA) executive board since 2011, including as president in 2015 and chairman in 2016. She has also served on the board of the Michigan Pharmacy Foundation. In 2009, she earned the MPA Distinguished New Pharmacy Practitioner Award.
