FLINT, Mich. — Robyn Peters has joined Diplomat Pharmacy Inc. as executive vice president of sales and payor strategies.

Peters, most recently vice president of market access and reimbursement at Biogen Inc., will oversee Diplomat’s payor and business development strategies, along with sales and pharma account management, and become a member of the specialty pharmacy’s executive leadership team.

Diplomat said Peters brings deep experience through leadership roles in market access, sales, marketing, pricing and business development. At Biogen, she led pricing and reimbursement strategies, trade and specialty distribution, contracting, payor marketing and account management. Before joining Biogen, Peters was group vice president of managed market sales and account management at Walgreens, where she supervised retail, specialty pharmacy, and health care sales and account management functions across managed care, health systems, and employer and government segments.

Prior to joining Walgreens, Peters served as vice president of U.S. payers and national accounts, corporate and government customers at Pfizer Inc., leading initiatives to spur innovation and growth with payor customers. Her roles also have included commercial leadership posts at Boehringer Ingelheim, Schering-Plough and MediFit Corporate Services.

In addition, Peters is a member of the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation.
