Discount Drug Mart opens new store in Strongsville, Ohio

MEDINA, Ohio – Discount Drug Mart has opened a second location in Strongsville, Ohio. The newly constructed over 28,500 square foot store has more than 50,000 items including general merchandise (household needs, cosmetics and pet supplies), grocery, beer and wine items (fresh produce and full-service deli). The store also has a full range of patient health solutions (pharmacy and home health care) and a wide range of in-store services (photo center, Western Union and UPS).

The new store will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 12:00pm to celebrate the opening of the store. The store is located at 9133 Pearl Road in Strongsville next to the Lowe’s. The ribbon-cutting event will include presentations from Strongsville Mayor Tom Perciak, Ohio State Senator Matt Dolan, Ohio State Representative Tom Patton, members of the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce and leaders and family members from Discount Drug Mart.

“Discount Drug Mart remains a valued member of the Strongsville community and we thank them for their new investment at Pearl and Whitney Road,” said Strongsville Mayor Tom Perciak. He continued, “Discount Drug Mart continues to create jobs within our City while supporting local civic groups and providing great service to our residents.”
