GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Dollar General has begun selling Rexall health care products and said it will be the exclusive retailer of the brand.
The deep discount chain said Wednesday that Rexall vitamins and supplements are now available at its stores and that a full line of Rexall products will be on its shelves this fall.
Plans call for Dollar General to carry a broad assortment of Rexall products, including over-the-counter medications as well as first aid, foot care and dental care items.
"Rexall spent decades caring for generations of families in communities across the country through its drug stores, pharmacies and by developing high-quality, reputable products," Dollar General chief merchandising officer Todd Vaso said in a statement. "Dollar General is excited and proud to offer our customers that same heritage of dependable care and quality as we welcome Rexall products to our stores."
Dollar General, which carries an array of private labels and national brands, has more than 8,800 stores in 35 states.
