Dr. Hauschka enters oral care category

NEW YORK — Natural skin care brand Dr. Hauschka is making a foray into a new personal care category with the launch of its Med Oral Care line.

Group Med Teeth FR-GB; Gruppe Med Zahn FR-GBRolling out this month, the Dr. Hauschka Med Oral Care collection includes four products: Labimint Acute Lip Care, Sensitive Saltwater Toothpaste, Fortifying Mint Toothpaste and Sage Mouthwash.

Products in the oral care line, developed in cooperation with dentists, are made with nourishing plant ingredients to soothe and fortify teeth and gums, Dr. Hauschka said.

Formulated without fluorides and sodium laureth sulfate, the collection contains certified natural ingredients to help maintain healthy teeth and gums, freshen breath, remove plaque, prevent tartar and support overall oral health, according to the company.

“We are thrilled to be entering into this new category,” commented Victor Morrison, chief executive officer of Dr. Hauschka. “As a brand who prides themselves on producing the highest-quality natural skin care, we are excited to enter the oral care market with the same quality offer. This expansion will enable us to offer more products to our existing fans and reach new consumers through the oral care category.”

The Dr. Hauschka Med Oral Care collection, along with the Med Skin Care Line, will be available at Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy stores, on Pharmaca.com and at certified Dr. Hauschka estheticians nationwide in September.

Products in the Dr. Hauschka Med Skin Care Line, which features offerings for atopic dermatitis and very dry skin, include Ice Plant Face Cream, Ice Plant Body Care Lotion, Intensive Ice Plant Cream and Acute Care Potentilla.Dr. Hauschka’s roster of skin care, body care and color cosmetics products are sold at such retailers as CVS Pharmacy, Pharmaca and Whole Foods Markets, among others.
