GURNEE, Ill. — EcoTools is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2017 with the launch of its New Modern Eco Collection beauty accessories.

EcoTools Perfecting Blender DuoThe Paris Presents Inc. brand said the new line sports a refreshed logo and packaging, with clean colors and modern metallic accents, and advances its hair, bath and spa and makeup application collections.

The new offering also pioneers the first-ever makeup sponge made from plant-based materials, according to the company.

Updates include redesigned makeup brushes with tapered light-weight brush handles, still made from renewable bamboo, for improved comfort and performance, a brighter wood color, contemporary gunmetal ferrules and ombre bristles.

EcoTools noted that on-package education “takes the intimidation” out of the makeup brush aisle, as each product links to the recommended color cosmetic pairing, indicates the end benefit and identifies the level of coverage. There’s also a face chart for application.

New products in the New Modern Eco Collection include the Limited-Edition Anniversary Brush Set (airbrushed finishing, controlled setting, angled crease, flat eyeliner, eye/lip blur and spoolie brushes) in a rose gold canister for $19.99. The Perfecting Blender Duo ($9.99), including a base blender and detail blender, represents the first-ever makeup blender with EcoFoam technology, made from 71% sugar cane, EcoTools said.

Other new items include the Full Powder 70,000-bristle brush ($8.99), which EcoTools said has a densely-packed, rounded head offering 200% more bristles than a standard powder brush; Micro Blending Brush ($4.99), with soft, steeply cut, angled bristles for blending along small contours of the face; and the Define & Highlight Duo brushes ($11.99), featuring a highlighting fan brush and define brush.

There’s also the fourth edition of the Modern Romance Collection ($14.99), which features vintage pink hues and rose-patterned ferrules. The set includes angled blush, flat foundation, full shadow, petite eye sharing and detail lip brushes.
