Stormtrooper kicks off new 3D Character Toothbrush line

BUENA PARK, Calif. — Dr. Fresh LLC’s Firefly children’s oral care brand has added to its Star Wars product roster with the Stormtrooper 3D Character Toothbrush.

Firefly Stormtrooper 3D Character ToothbrushDr. Fresh said Monday that the new product marks the first offering in a new line of Firefly 3D Character Toothbrushes slated to be introduced this year, including Kylo Ren, Hello Kitty and others.

The Star Wars Stormtrooper 3D Character Toothbrush features a Stormtrooper on the front of the brush that looks like an action figure. The brush also stands upright on the counter, resulting in less mess and better hygiene, Dr. Fresh noted. The Stormtrooper brush also is coming out in time for Easter and before the upcoming DVD release of the latest Star Wars movie, the company added.

“Parents are busier than ever, and they know getting their kids to develop good oral care habits is a real challenge when the kids put up a fight every morning and night. Fun and interaction wins, not lectures,” stated Geoff Carroll, chief marketing officer at Dr. Fresh. “Previously, kids’ toothbrushes were limited to featuring pictures or bright colors. Firefly is changing all of that with the new 3D Character Toothbrush line that look like their favorite toys. Plus, everyone wins with a clever design that enables it to stand upright to keep the brush and countertop clean.”

The Firefly Star Wars collection also include the Lightsaber flashing-timer toothbrushes, which feature galactic sounds and memorable movie quotes from favorite characters like Yoda, Kylo Ren, Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi and are available at Walmart, Target, Kroger, Walgreens and other retailers.

In addition, the Firefly Ready Go Toothbrush is offered in range of Star Wars characters, including Stormtrooper, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, as well as new characters Kylo Ren and BB-8.
