The four gift packs, announced Tuesday, come in three product combinations with packaging that sports images from the film.
Two of the packs, each bearing different images from the film, contain one Gillette ProShield razor, one Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shave gel and one cartridge. Another pack features a Gillette Mach3 razor, two cartridges and one Mach3 Sensitive shave gel. The top-of-the-collection pack offers one ProShield razor, one cartridge, one Fusion ProGlide Sensitive shave gel, one Gillette Endurance antiperspirant/deodorant and an organizer tray.
The Star Wars Rogue One gift packs, now in stores nationwide, are part of Gillette’s “Every Story Has a Face” campaign, which the company said focuses on the power behind each guy’s face as he prepares for the challenges of the day.
The campaign kicks off with a long-form video spot linking the stories of the unknown faces within the Star Wars universe with what each guy’s face conveys in the look they craft.
“It is incredibly exciting to work with such an iconic movie franchise that connects with our guys and celebrates the story behind each man’s face and chosen look,” stated John Mang, vice president for global at Gillette. “As the world’s leading male grooming brand, Gillette products ensure guys can craft their story in order to take on the journey ahead, no matter what challenges it may bring.”
The first stand-alone Star Wars film, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is slated to hit theaters on Dec. 16.
