EUGENE, Ore. — Sexual wellness products maker Good Clean Love has boosted its distribution at major food, drug and mass retail chains.

The company said Wednesday that it has expanded its product distribution to more than 10,000 additional brick-and-mortar stores this year, including CVS Pharmacy, Rite Aid, Target, Safeway, Food Lion, Whole Foods Market, Walmart and Publix Super Market.

Previously, Good Clean Love had only sold its all-natural personal lubricants and feminine hygiene products at Kroger stores, small natural product retailers and online.

Good Clean Love attributed its sharp expansion to a 25% repurchase rate, compared with 1.5% for competitive products, which the company said reflects customer satisfaction with its products’ performance. The company also cited a conclusion by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that Good Clean Love lubricants are among the safest on the market, based on their close approximation of natural female lubrication.

In addition, Good Clean Love pointed to rising interest in organic personal care products, with 70% of consumers reporting readership of product labels in the category.

Good Clean Love noted that it always uses natural ingredients, including organic whenever possible. The company said its certified organic hygiene product formulations are free of petrochemicals and parabens, while its Bio-Match vaginal products are 100% isotonic to help support a healthy vaginal ecosystem. The brand also is eco-friendly, with its packaging using green plastics made of recyclable sugar cane.

Good Clean Love’s product lineup includes the Almost Naked, Bio-Match Restore and Guilty Pleasure personal lubricants; love oil, scent and pleasure balm aphrodisiac items; and Balance personal wash and Rebalance cleansing wipes feminine care.
