In acknowledgment of independent community pharmacy’s fearless efforts throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, AmerisourceBergen will honor the ThoughtSpot 2021 Generics Rebate for eligible customers who complete registration by March 31st and participate in this year’s virtual event. Virtual ThoughtSpot will again be offered at no cost to attendees as AmerisourceBergen makes accommodations to ensure safe participation.

“With more than 90% of people living within five miles of a community pharmacy, pharmacists have the unique reach and ability to provide access to the COVID-19 vaccine and support broad vaccination efforts, particularly for rural areas and under-resourced patient populations,” said Rich Tremonte, EVP and President of Community and Specialty Pharmacy at AmerisourceBergen. “Everyone at AmerisourceBergen is standing with our pharmacies, and we know it is critical that such care continues without interruption.”

As the United States and the world continue to navigate the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, not only does the health and safety of customers, partners, and associates remain a top priority, but is also critically important that the role of pharmacists as an essential healthcare provider in their communities is taken into consideration. As providers of critical care and as vaccine access continues to broaden, it is of the utmost importance for pharmacists to be in their local communities supporting their patients as the fight against COVID-19 continues.

“In the months ahead, we know that communities across the country will be leaning on their local independent community pharmacy as we continue to navigate this pandemic and the national COVID-19 vaccination strategy unfolds,” said Brian Nightengale, President of Good Neighbor Pharmacy. “We will certainly miss the opportunity to engage face-to-face with our customers, partners, and associates across the country in Las Vegas, but we’re excited to make our programming virtual so our pharmacists can be where they’re needed most.”

ThoughtSpot 2021 will feature dynamic general sessions, keynote address, musical entertainment, a variety of on-demand CE sessions and live webinars designed to equip pharmacists with the tools and best practices to optimize their business operations, improve the patient experience, and strengthen their bottom line.

Additionally, ThoughtSpot attendees can look forward to Good Neighbor Pharmacy’s annual Pharmacy of the Year Award, which recognizes top pharmacies that display excellence in patient care, community outreach, and innovative pharmacy practice.
