Hallmark to give away one million cards as a way of saying thanks

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hallmark announced that it is giving away one million cards to help parents and students show their appreciation and support for the people – including teachers, school staff, bus drivers, coaches and school counselors – who have made education possible this year.

Hallmark said it wants to help people say “thank you” to these dedicated individuals, and a handwritten note inside a card is a simple but impactful way to do so. Each pack of cards provides opportunities to tell people just how much they are appreciated, including a color-it-yourself Crayola card that gives an extra special touch.

“For the past 110 years, Hallmark has helped people put more care in the world, and now it is more important than ever to show some love for the incredible people who are teaching, coaching and caring for our children every day,” said Lindsey Roy, chief marketing officer of Hallmark. “We hope people will use this card giveaway as a tangible opportunity to recognize the vital role educators, administrators, school staff and many others play in our children’s lives.”
