Print Friendly, PDF & Email

IRVING, Texas —Health Mart announced on Monday the release of Health Mart Digital Portfolio, a solution designed to help pharmacies attract new patients, highlight unique pharmacy services and build stronger relationships within the community.

Health Mart Digital Portfolio, powered by Tabula Rasa HealthCare’s (TRHC) PrescribeWellness platform, provides pharmacies with a new suite of digital tools and services. The portfolio includes a consumer web portal and mobile application, to enhance pharmacy reach and patient outcomes through a multichannel online platform. Through TRHC’s PrescribeWellness solution, Health Mart will also offer dedicated customer support, pharmacist training and concierge marketing services.

Improving patient care through technology

Offered as part of the basic service, capabilities include the ability to display pertinent pharmacy contact information through a pharmacy landing page – a new channel in addition to the current store locator on healthmart.com. It also includes a customer portal, giving pharmacies the ability to provide an easy-to-use prescription refill option for patients.

“As a pharmacist, I know the importance of asking patients the right questions. Those are critical conversations,” said Eyad Farah, president of Health Mart & Health Mart Atlas. “The digital tools we’re rolling out for Health Mart pharmacies today will meaningfully impact our profession and patient care – specifically, critical interactions between patients and their pharmacist.”

Expanding community pharmacy tools

“Our patients continue to expect convenient and accessible avenues to seek care,” said Jonathan Marquess, Health Mart franchisee owner and PrescribeWellness customer. “This exciting collaboration between Health Mart and PrescribeWellness presents new ways for pharmacies to meet patients where they are for the delivery of personalized care.”

In addition, a subscription-based, premium offering will allow pharmacies to build a custom website. Premium capabilities include access to the PrescribeWellness Patient Engagement Center (PEC), a centralized dashboard for actionable patient and pharmacy data. In addition to real-time communication via secure, HIPAA-complaint two-way chat.

“Paramount to our mission is providing pharmacists with solutions to better engage patients through personalized means,” said Kelli Kovak, executive vice president for TRHC’s MedWise HealthCare Division. “This important expansion of our collaboration between Health Mart and PrescribeWellness significantly extends our nationwide pharmacy footprint and adds to our growing software-as-a-service offering.”
