HERSHEY, Pa. — Hershey Co. has launched Kisses Deluxe Chocolates, which the company calls “the largest innovation in 25 years from one of America’s most iconic chocolate brands.”

Hershey said Tuesday that Kisses Deluxe chocolates are twice the size of the original Kisses and feature a creamy chocolate center surrounded by a whole roasted hazelnut, finished with delicate crisps and smooth milk chocolate.

Kisses Deluxe Chocolates are available at such mass retailers as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Kroger, Walgreens, CVS/pharmacy and ShopRite, as well as online at retailers including Amazon.com and Target.com.

Hershey noted that by reimagining Hershey’s Kisses, the company is meeting consumer demand for a more expressive gifting chocolate.

An online survey of 1,000 U.S. adults by Wakefield Research on behalf of the Kisses Deluxe brand found that 85% of Americans have difficulty expressing their gratitude during holiday gatherings, and 68% struggle to find a holiday gift that conveys how they feel.

Kisses Deluxe are available in 20-, 35- and 50-piece gift boxes (as well as a 75-piece gift box offered via the Hershey website) as well as in three-, four- and 15-piece pouches.
