There was a full plate of activity for the last full day of the 2017 NACDS Total Store Expo, led by Insight Sessions on pharmacy, the front end and supply chain running through Monday morning.

The sessions covered such topics as TB testing, MACRA, diabetes management, patient care tools, retail and CPG technology, health and wellness consumers, digital retailing, DSCSA and robotics.

Leading the sessions were speakers from organizations including the UNM College of Pharmacy, KPMG, Kroger, Epic, Surescripts, XRC Labs, Passons Consulting, Nielsen, Walgreens, A.T. Kearney, the Center for Supply Chain Studies, iSolve and Deloitte Consulting.

“If you’re a retailer today, the goal should be how can we innovate faster, don’t be afraid to fail, how can we try new things, how can we get a pilot out there to see if this works for us — and don’t take a year to do it,” Stacy Ferreira of Forge Technologies told NACDS-TV.

Also sharing their thoughts with NACDS-TV interviewers in this video segment were Pano Anthos of XRC Labs, Eduardo Rivara of Facenote, Ofer Klein of Kwik Commerce and Bob Celeste of the Center for Supply Chain Studies.

And unsurprisingly, expo attendees took some time to check out the solar eclipse (wearing their safety glasses, of course).
