FAIRFIELD, Calif. — This spring, Jelly Belly Candy Co. plans to roll out DC Comics Super Hero Collection jelly beans.

The specially branded bags, created in conjunction with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Entertainment, will feature the iconic DC crime fighters Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.

Plans call for the Jelly Belly Super Hero Collection beans to be offered in 1-ounce and 2.8-ounce Grab & Go bags.

Each bag contains the Super Hero Mix of Jelly Belly jelly beans, including shimmering versions of popular flavors Berry Blue, Blueberry, Cream Soda, Sour Lemon, Very Chery and Wild Blackberry, according to Jelly Belly.

The 1-oz. bags, intended for snacking or party favors, each feature Batman, Superman or Wonder Woman in a mixed 24-count caddy. The shippable caddy is display-ready for retailers to merchandise on shelf or at the cash register, the company noted.

Designed for sharing or as a gift, the Grab & Go bags also each feature one of the three DC Comics super heroes, and they are sold separately in breakaway 12-count caddies. The bag can be displayed on pegs or within the breakaway caddy, which sits upright on shelves.
