MIAMI — KidzStuff health items have rolled out to 125 Publix Pharmacy locations in South Florida.

A provider of baby and young children’s clothing and wellness products, Miami-based KidzStuff said it’s looking to expand into brick-and-mortar retail stores after having sold its wares exclusively online.

The KidzStuff Super Powers 3X Toothbrushes, Kidz-Safe Nail Trimmer and Stay Well First Aid Kit.

KidzStuff products now sold at the Publix pharmacies are the Stay Well First Aid Kit, Super Powers 3X Toothbrushes, Kidz-Safe Nail Trimmer and Doctor’s Ear Wax Remover.

The company noted that the products are designed with both parents and children in mind.

The Stay Well First Aid Kit, containing 49 first aid essentials, is geared for on-the-go use, with the kit sized to fit into a purse. Meanwhile, the Super Powers 3X Toothbrushes have a unique, three-sided head that reduces brushing time without taking away from recommended oral hygiene practices. And the Kidz-Safe Nail Trimmer is designed to make clipping the nails of small children safer and easier without the worry of cutting nails too short.

KidzStuff arose from a pediatrician’s desire to make life better for children and their parents and their children. Dr. Narendra Kini, an emergency room pediatric physician, saw firsthand the difficulties that hospital clinicians face when caring for children. Realizing that parents also dealt with some of the same challenges, he sought new ways to solve them. Kini, now president and chief executive officer of Miami Children’s Health Systems, combined the resources from Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami and its research institute to design a range of innovative health and wellness products specifically for children.

“Our vision is to develop original and innovative children’s wellness products that ensure the ease of care and the child’s safety,” Kini stated.

Along with the first aid kit, toothbrushes and nail trimmer, KidzStuff products include sun- and insect-protection apparel for infants and small children, an insect protection blanket and a romper/neck cradle solution to help nursing mothers provide safe support for their babies.
