HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — Phil Keough has joined Sears Holdings Corp. as senior vice president and president of pharmacy.

In the role, Keough will oversee Kmart Pharmacy and help drive member engagement for the Shop Your Way customer rewards program to drive in-store and online growth of the company’s health and wellness business.

“The Kmart pharmacy business continues to be one of the most important opportunities for us to grow and strengthen our relationship with our members,” Keough commented. “I look forward to expanding the ways we serve our members’ pharmacy needs and providing them the solutions to get and stay healthy.”

Most recently, Keough served as president and chief executive officer of Millennium Pharmacy Systems, a long-term-care pharmacy provider, and led the sale of the company to PharMerica, according to Sears.

Before joining Millennium, Keough held senior leadership positions at CVS and Rite Aid Corp., where he served as senior vice president of pharmacy operations for six years.

In coming to Sears as president of pharmacy, Keough succeeds Mark Panzer, who has rejoined Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy as president and CEO. Panzer was announced as pharmacy president at Sears early last February.

Kmart has more than 800 pharmacy locations. In November, the retailer unveiled Shop Your Way Health, a new health and wellness online resource that enables Shop Your Way members to earn points and receive other benefits from Kmart Pharmacy and over 20 health and wellness service providers.
