Mauch and Gielen to lead HDA board again

ARLINGTON, Va. — The Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA) announced Monday that Robert Mauch, group president of AmerisourceBergen Corp., was elected to a second term as chairman of the HDA board of directors. Chad Gielen, president/CEO of Louisiana Wholesale Drug Co., will again serve as vice chairman.

“HDA members are essential to healthcare delivery, and they have been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic to ensure crucial medications, supplies and equipment have efficiently, reliably and securely reached their destinations every day,” said Bob Mauch. “It’s an honor to continue serving as the HDA board chairman, and I look forward to working with Chip, Chad and members as we navigate challenges and new opportunities to drive value for manufacturers, providers, patients and the healthcare system overall.”
