LOS ANGELES — Van der Hagen Enterprises’ Shave Butter was named as a top product of the year by Men’s Health magazine.

Van der Hagen Shave Butter The product, honored at the 2015 Men’s Health Grooming Awards in New York, was recognized in the shaving category and featured in the June issue of the publication after being selected from hundreds of products tested by a panel of editors, experts and consumers, van der Hagen said Tuesday.

Men’s Health noted that whereas most shaving soaps and creams are detergent or soap-based, van der Hagen Shave Butter’s formula consists of natural oils and butters to deliver the smoothest shave possible.

“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by a magazine as well respected as Men’s Health,” stated Marty van der Hagen, chief executive officer of van der Hagen Enterprises. “Given the countless product submissions, we couldn’t be prouder to win this award. The Shave Butter so strongly differentiates from any other competing shave cream, and earning this achievement attests to that.”

Suitable for men and women, the Shave Butter is an all-in-one shave cream and moisturizing after-balm that softens stubble, reduces razor burn and leaves skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. After using the Shave Butter to shave, any remaining product can be rubbed into the skin for instant moisture. No rinsing is required.

Van der Hagen Shave Butter is available at Rite Aid stores nationwide and online at Target.com and Amazon.com.

Along with Shave Butter, personal care products in the van der Hagen lineup include badger and boar bristle shave brushes, scented and unscented shave soaps, monogrammed shaving bowls and glycerin body soaps.
