RALEIGH, N.C. — Merz Aesthetics has announced the U.S. launch of Mederma Quick Dry Oil and Mederma Spezial cream mousses and dietary supplements, designed to address a range of skin care issues.

A fast-absorbing oil, Mederma Quick Dry Oil helps reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone and dry skin. The product contains a complex blend of oils, botanicals and patented Cepalin and is free of artificial dyes, colors and perfumes and has no parabens or mineral oils.

Cepalin, a proprietary botanical extract, helps to improve the overall appearance, texture, and color of scars and stretch marks.

Focused on supplying skin, hair and nails with nutrients to stay healthy and strong, the Mederma Spezial line encompasses three targeted dietary capsules — Mederma Spezial Skin Capsules, Mederma Spezial Healthy Nails and Mederma Spezial Hair Capsules — plus two topical cream mousses, Mederma Spezial Cream Mousse Hyaluron and Mederma Spezial Cream Mousse Collagen.

Merz noted that the product collection has been available and sold in Europe since 1964.

Mederma Quick Dry Oil is now available at Walgreens, Rite Aid and Walmart stores as well as online at Amazon.com. Merz said the product will roll out to CVS Pharmacy stores later this spring. It carries a suggested retail price of $13.49 for 100 ml, $19.99 for 150 ml and $27.99 for 200 ml.

Mederma Spezial is currently being sold at Amazon.com, with retail prices for the supplements and cream mousses ranging from $12.95 to $20.99.
