ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The National Association of Chain Drug Stores has named Sandra Kay Guckian vice president of state government affairs.
In her new role Guckian, who previously served as vice president and deputy director of state government affairs, will head the NACDS state government affairs team.
“In her new capacity, Sandra is charged with marshalling her considerable talents and the strength of NACDS to take NACDS’ already vital state government affairs program to new levels,” notes NACDS president and chief executive officer Steve Anderson.
According to Anderson, Guckian is well-equipped to work collaboratively with NACDS members, state associations and other NACDS departments to “help advance pharmacy at all levels of government for the ultimate benefit of patient care.”
