NACDS Foundation elects new board members

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The National Association of Chain Drug Stores Foundation has announced seven new members for its board of directors.

Newly elected NACDS Foundation board members include Joseph Cavaliere, senior vice president of customer development at Unilever; Debbie Garza, divisional vice president of government and community relations at Walgreen Co.; William Graham, vice president of sales at Beiersdorf Inc.; David Klaum, general manager of Fougera and senior vice president of Nycomed US Inc.; Louis Martire, vice president of trade development at Energizer Holdings Inc.; David Moules, vice president of channel development, patient assistance and reimbursement programs at GlaxoSmithKline; and Robert Potter, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc.

The new board members will serve a one-year term.

"The NACDS Foundation is dedicated to improving and advancing public health and wellness," foundation president Edith Rosato said in a statement. “Our board, which is truly representative of the pharmacy community — from retailers and pharmaceutical companies to consumer product businesses — shares in our commitment to education, research and charity. I applaud the pharmacy community’s support of the foundation, welcome our new board members and look forward to working with them to implement the foundation’s vision and mission."
