ARLINGTON, Va. — The National Association of Chain Drug Stores board of directors, top executives from NACDS associate member companies and nationally recognized thought leaders will have an opportunity during December’s NACDS Week in New York City to assess and anticipate highly consequential political and retail dynamics.

Former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour and Wendy Liebmann, chief executive officer and chief shopper of WSL/Strategic Retail, will present and engage with attendees during the NACDS Leadership Roundtable on Wednesday, December 2. The events also include meetings of the NACDS board and of the NACDS retail advisory board. Also on the schedule are networking events and meetings hosted by industry partners.

In a separate event on December 3, the NACDS Foundation Dinner will welcome Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly as its keynote speaker.

“Gov. Barbour spoke at an NACDS political action committee event during the 2014 NACDS Annual Meeting, and he riveted us with his keen political wisdom, and with vivid stories that captured the moment in American politics,” said NACDS president and CEO Steve Anderson. “Wendy Liebmann is regarded as an authority and visionary of modern retail, whose data-driven knowledge and sixth sense of the American consumer cannot be ignored.”
