ALEXANDRIA, Va.  — Registration opens Friday, Aug. 28, 2020, for the National Community Pharmacists Association 2020 Annual Convention, coming to you this year wherever you are.

“This will be the most convenient, most affordable NCPA Convention we’ve ever had,” said NCPA CEO B. Douglas Hoey, pharmacist, MBA. “If you were unable to attend in previous years because of the cost, or the convenience, or the distance, or the time away from your business, this is absolutely the convention for you. It’s a can’t-miss event with no excuse to miss it.”

In important ways, this year’s event is no different than any other NCPA Convention: jam-packed with education for pharmacy teams inspired by pharmacy owners, a one-stop exhibition for products and services, great programs, speakers, and networking opportunities. On the other hand, this year’s event spans two consecutive days instead of four, and attendees can check in from wherever they are. No cabs, no shuttle buses, no airports, no long drives, and no crowds.

“That’s the advantage of a virtual event,” said Hoey. “It’s an imperative this year, but it’s also a great opportunity for pharmacists or pharmacy students who may never have been to an NCPA event to experience it for the first time. And for the pharmacy owners who attend regularly, this is a great chance to involve every member of their team.”
