Nice-Pak expands manufacturing, distribution

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. — Nice-Pak has expanded its wet wipe manufacturing plants and distribution facilities and consolidated and reconfigures its North American operations.

The company said Wednesday that it has has introduced new state-of-the-art equipment and packaging technologies in its Jonesboro, Ark.,, and Mooresville, Ind., facilities.

In addition, production at the soon-to-close Green Bay, Wis., facility will be relocated to the expanded manufacturing and distribution facilities in Indiana, according to Nice-Pak. The company noted that the move will further its leadership in the wet wipes market and significantly enhance its global sustainability platform.

"Nice-Pak produces over 125 billion premoistened wipes annually, focused on improving family health and wellness," stated Robert Julius, chairman and chief executive officer of Nice-Pak. "The installation of state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and advanced packaging technology is consistent with Nice-Pak’s leadership role in the wet wipe industry and involves a well-orchestrated reconfiguration that has been designed to benefit current and future customers."

Julius added that manufacturing and distribution realignment addresses the company’s goal of providing customers with the most cost-effective solutions for delivering more efficient production, transportation, distribution and sustainability to meet all of its their needs.

Based in Orangeburg, N.Y., Nice-Pak has introduced products for the personal care, baby, health, hand sanitizing, beauty and household segments. Brands for Nice-Pak and its sister company PDI include Chloroscrub, Sani, Wet Nap, Grime Boss and Sani Professional among others.

Besides the production facilities in North America, the company operates three manufacturing facilities in Europe under the direction of United Kingdom-based Nice-Pak International.
