Pampers Cruisers get a refresh

MINNEAPOLIS — Proctor & Gamble Co. has rolled out Pampers Cruisers diapers with some new features plus a new look.

P&G said Wednesday that the redesigned disposal diaper features include improved softness, a 20% longer absorbent patch and new Sesame Street designs.

According to the company, the features in this year’s refreshed Pampers, now available at retailers nationwide, including Target Corp., stem from customer feedback.

"We are really excited to offer these new and improved diapers," commented Tricia Higgins, external relations for Pampers. "We have listened to what parents really like about our diapers and responded by adding those features, such as the softness from Swaddlers, to our Cruisers diapers, which are available in sizes 3 and 4."

As part of the launch of the new Pampers Cruisers, Target will feature in-store displays and high-value gift cards with select purchases and offer up to $5 in coupons for Pampers. Special offers will also be available through August on both the Target and Pampers Facebook pages.

"On my blog, Mom Generations, we are always looking for brands that we can trust," stated Audrey McClelland, a mommy blogger and Pampers spokeswoman. "I have grown up with Pampers, and it’s great to see them grow with this new generation of mothers. I’m extremely busy with four boys under 6, and I love that I can walk into Target to grab a box of Cruisers and know that I am getting everything my baby needs out of a diaper."
