WASHINGTON — The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA) Thursday announced staff additions to its Federal Affairs, State Affairs, Strategic Communications, and Industry Relations departments.

Jocelyn Wiles has been named senior director of federal affairs. Prior to coming to PCMA, she spent five years working for America’s Essential Hospitals as a federal lobbyist. She has also worked for the Health Resources and Services Administration under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and spent five years on Capitol Hill working for several members of the House of Representatives, most recently Rep. Kathy Castor (D., Fla.), where she supported the congresswoman’s work on the Energy and Commerce Committee.

Heather Cascone was appointed senior director of state affairs. She brings nearly 15 years of PBM industry experience in government affairs, policy, and public affairs from her tenures at Express Scripts and Medco.

Mike Badly will work in PCMA’s Strategic Communications department as director. Prior to joining PCMA,  Baldyga worked on the public relations team for the American College of Emergency Physicians, the nation’s largest organization representing the specialty of emergency medicine with nearly 40,000 members. He is also a former television news reporter and anchor.

Kayla Firriolo joined the Industry Relations team as conference manager. She has extensive experience in conference planning with the American Educational Research Association and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.

“PCMA continues to work with state and federal lawmakers as they seek to make prescription drugs affordable to every consumer. Our new staff members will enhance the organization’s ability to achieve that objective,” said president and CEO JC Scott.
