The ownership transition from Patton’s Pharmacy, at 734 Montana Avenue, is nearly complete, with a grand opening planned for November 17.

“Patton’s has long been a pillar of the Santa Monica community, and we’re grateful for all the great service Paul and Marilyn Leoni, Patton’s current owners, have provided,” said Richard Willis, chief executive of Pharmaca. “We look forward to continuing to provide that same personalized attention through Pharmaca’s customer service-oriented model. And we’re pleased that this new location that will make it even easier for Los Angeles customers to take advantage of all we have to offer.”

The new store will become Pharmaca’s fourth in the Los Angeles area, and 29 overall in six states: California, Colorado, Illinois, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington.

Pharmaca’s innovative model features a full-service pharmacy, in addition to prescription compounding, specialty medications and in-store immunizations. Pharmaca also offers a well curated selection of high-quality vitamins and supplements, natural and organic beauty products and guidance from an expert team of more than 300 licensed health care practitioners.

“We are so grateful for the patronage of our customers over the last 37 years,” says Paul Leoni. “It has been our pleasure to serve their health and wellness needs. And we look forward to being able to continue that great tradition through Pharmaca’s unique model. Pharmaca shares many of our values, including a focus on providing friendly and efficient customer service and reliable medications and products.”

While Paul and Marilyn will be retiring, many current members of the Patton’s pharmacy team will remain on to serve customers.
