SEATTLE — Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy has debuted a store in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood here, its fifth in Washington state.

The new outlet offers a one-stop shopping experience for natural health and beauty products and services.

“Seattle residents have already come to know and love Pharmaca’s unique shopping experience, so we’re excited to be able to expand our presence here,” vice president of marketing and innovation Laura Coblentz said before the opening. “Now our neighbors in Queen Anne can get to know Pharmaca too, including our unique product offering and our team of health and beauty experts.”

Pharmaca also has begun offering immunizations for influenza, pneumonia, shingles and whooping cough on a walk-in basis. The majority of Pharmaca pharmacists are trained to provide the shots to any customer who requests one during open pharmacy hours.

In addition, the 26-store chain will hold flu shot clinics every Tuesday in September, October and November, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Customers can bring their questions about immunization and other health concerns to pharmacists and practitioners, and receive personalized health advice. Customers can also take advantage of special savings coupons that the retailer is offering exclusively to flu shot customers.

“Pharmaca is proud to be an integrative solution for all of our customers’ health and wellness needs,” Stuart Gratz, vice president of pharmacy operations, said this month. “By offering these immunizations at any time, we’re serving the needs of customers who feel that immunization is the best option for them — and making it most convenient for them.”
