DALLAS — Poise has partnered with celebrity host and actress Brooke Burke-Charvet to educate women about light bladder leakage (LBL) and help them find solutions to address the condition.

The Kimberly-Clark incontinence products brand said Burke-Charvet is appearing in new Poise television, print and online ads; freestanding inserts; and online videos available on Poise.com.

In addition, Poise has launched an integrated marketing effort encompassing digital partnerships, sampling, retail support, and a year-long partnership with Life Time Fitness that includes in-club signage plus sponsorship of and samples at the company’s national Esprit de She races.

Poise noted that although one in three women experience LBL, many are too shy to discuss it — even with close family and friends — and don’t realize that they’re not alone.

“I’m a mom of four wonderful kids. So, of course, I — like millions of other women — experience leaks every now and then. But I’ve found ways to dance through the beautiful chaos that is my family, my work in the entertainment industry, my fitness classes and more, and haven’t let LBL hold me back,” Burke-Charvet said in a statement. “There is something really powerful about being able to connect and relate as women, and I’m all about empowering the millions of us who experience leaks to seize their Poise moment — that exact time when we stop letting leaks interrupt our lives and reach for Poise — to help manage LBL with confidence.”

Poise ThinShape padsPoise Thin-Shape pads offer women with LBL three-in-one protection for dryness, comfort and odor control, according to Kimberly-Clark. Unlike period pads, Thin-Shape pads feature Thin-Flex Technology that moves with a woman’s body, along with an Absorb-loc core that quickly locks away wetness and odor plus leak-block sides for added protection.

Thin-Shape pads, too, are up to 40% thinner than original Poise brand pads and stay three times drier than leading period pads, the company said.

“For more than 20 years, the Poise brand has been committed to understanding women’s evolving feminine care needs and introducing them to innovative, category-changing solutions that empower and give them confidence,” stated Breanna Kuhn, Poise brand manager for Kimberly-Clark. “We are thrilled to offer options like Poise Thin-Shape pads, which offer outstanding protection to help them manage their leaks with confidence and live life uninterrupted.”
