RONKONKOMA, N.Y. — Pure Protein has expanded its nutritional snack lineup with the launch of Pure Protein Crunch.

The NBTY protein snack, beverage and powder brand said the bite-sized, crunchy crisp snacks are formulated to give physically active, on-the-go consumers a convenient, nutritious snacking option. The product comes in two flavors, double chocolate and peanut butter.

Each variety of Pure Protein Crunch contains 10 grams of protein, 5 grams of sugar and 160 calories or less per serving. The snack, which comes in a 1.2-ounce, single-serving pouch, is made with non-GMO ingredients and is gluten-free.

The company said Pure Protein Crunch is principally formulated like Pure Protein bars, a pioneer of the protein bar category, which launched in 1995.
