LOS ANGELES — Raw Sugar Living, a lifestyle beauty brand, has just launched their vegan-friendly personal care products with skin-loving ingredients into 7,000 Walgreens retail stores nationwide. Already on the retail shelves of Target and Meijer throughout the country, Raw Sugar is rapidly expanding their product distribution and has selected Walgreens as the third big brand retail chain to carry a range of their products. This move lines up with Raw Sugar’s mission to promote clean and healthy living by making it more accessible at a more affordable price point.

Raw Sugar Living Now at Walgreens!

As a brand whose product development is directly driven by consumer demand, it was important for us to not only meet their needs regarding healthy living products, but to make them more accessible by meeting consumers where they already were—in the aisles of their local retail store. Walgreens was the most strategic next step,” said Ronnie Shugar, co-founder and chief executive officer, Raw Sugar Living.

The expanded distribution also means that through Raw Sugar’s give-back program, the Raw Sugar Initiative, the company will be able to donate even more bars of soap to families and communities in need. To date, already millions of soap bars have been donated through their partner, Direct Relief.

“We felt that Walgreens was truly aligned with our company mission and identified with who we are as a brand—and that was everything to us,” said Donda Mullis, Co-Founder & CMO, Raw Sugar Living. “Core to our belief is that everybody has the right to feel beautiful, and we knew that expanding our product reach through thousands of Walgreens stores means that even more people will now not only be able to access our Raw Sugar products but will also be supporting our give-back program—and to us, that is what matters most.”
