Sundial said the new line provides a healthy way for women with curly hair to elongate shrinkage-prone hair and maintain their length. The company noted that fighting shrinkage can be damaging, particularly when heat styling tools are used or when too much tension is placed on the hair and scalp.

SheaMoisture Red Palm Oil & Cocoa Butter products detangle, define, moisturize, lengthen and block humidity. The collection includes Curl Stretch Pudding ($13.99), Detangling Shampoo ($11.99), Leave-In or Rinse-Out Conditioner ($11.99), Reshaping Shine Butter ($9.99) and Styling Gelee ($9.99).

The products are made with ethically and sustainably sourced natural, fair trade and certified organic ingredients. Key ingredients include red palm oil, which is rich in antioxidants and vitamins A, E, D and K; cocoa butter, which provides extra moisturizing to help replenish oils to dry hair; and flax seed oil, which nourishes follicles and improves elasticity.

Sundial added that the SheaMoisture Red Palm Oil & Cocoa Butter line contains no mineral oil, parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol or sulfates.
