SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Smith Drug Co. has entered into a non-exclusive agreement to distribute the PerceptiMed, scripClip will-call system to pharmacies.

The agreement provides for Smith Drug to train their field sales and customer support personnel to help pharmacies take advantage of the customer service and patient safety features of the scripClip will-call management system.

“We pride ourselves on listening to our customers, offering them products and services that will positively impact their pharmacies,” said Saul Factor, president, Smith Drug Co. “The Perceptimed scripClip is a great addition to our portfolio of products that help our customers thrive.”

Bob Curry, chief executive officer of PerceptiMed said “We are thrilled to work with Smith Drug. Their culture and reputation for customer service excellence is in perfect alignment with our goals and corporate culture.” Curry says he is eager for Smith Drug sales and marketing people to complete the training process, and he looks forward to supporting the annual Smith Drug Trade Show in Baltimore this summer.

PerceptiMed says this new initiative is possible because of the work the company has done since the launch of scripClip in 2016 to ensure pharmacies that install scripClip find the system is easy to implement, simple to operate and does an exceptional job of ensuring the right medication is given to the right patient, every time. The system utilizes wireless technology (Radio Frequency based) and offers both a fixed handle system and a clip option for use with existing bags.
