Aurobindo cleared to market Effient generic
EAST WINDSOR, N.J. — Aurobindo Pharma Ltd. has gained approval from the Food and Drug Administration for prasugrel tablets, an antiplatelet blood thinner, in dosages of 5 mg and 10 mg. Aurobindo said Thursday that its prasugrel product is a generic version of Effient tablets (5 mg and 10 mg) from Eli Lilly and Co.
