DEERFIELD, Ill. — Walgreens announced that Patrick Carroll, who had been serving as chief medical officer for its Healthcare Clinic businesses since joining the company in 2014, has taken on a new role as group vice president, healthcare services and clinical programs. He will also be assuming the full-time role as Walgreens chief medical officer.
