The Vitamin Shoppe names Muriel Gonzalez EVP

SECAUCUS, N.J. —  The Vitamin Shoppe has appointed Muriel Gonzalez as executive vice president, chief merchandising and marketing officer, effective Monday.

In this new role,  Gonzalez will spearhead all merchandising, marketing, product development, and private brands initiatives, driving a cohesive and integrated vision for The Vitamin Shoppe’s ongoing reinvention as the industry’s premiere health and wellness lifestyle retailer.

Gonzalez brings deep expertise from a distinguished, four-decades long career in senior roles at Macy’s, Bergdorf Goodman, Estée Lauder, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Ann Taylor. She reports to Sharon Leite, chief executive officer of The Vitamin Shoppe.
