FRISCO, Texas – Urban Hydration is ready to make news again. The trailblazing beauty brand will virtually broadcast its Second Annual Business Partner Awards on December 14, 2021 at 10:30 ET.

The Black-owned skin care brand, known for its extensive range of hair, skin and body products formulated with potent-plant based ingredients, will award and celebrate influential individuals in the beauty industry. They honorees are singled out as pioneers in their categories along with companies setting the pace in regard to innovation, sales support, advocacy and mission.
A much-anticipated feature will be a one-on-one, fireside chat with Ulta Beauty’s ceo David Kimbell, who will receive a special honor on behalf of the beauty powerhouse.
Natalie Ryan, Insights Team Lead at The Emerson Group will present an information-packed forecast delving into Trends in Indie Beauty, Mission Based Beauty and Clean Beauty heading into 2022.
Returning from a captivating presentation about his life during the inaugural awards in 2020 is MLB legend Torii Hunter. This year he will serve as the host for the awards that will also spotlight several executives at major retailers including Ulta Beauty, Target and Walgreens along with influencers who have helped elevate the beauty industry.
There will be virtual networking with hundreds of industry leaders and beauty influencers. A gift bag loaded with $100 worth of Urban Hydration’s newest and most innovative programs will be given to those with ticketed registrations.
Last year Psyche and her husband Vontoba Terry presented honors to Tom Burke, CVS Health’s director of skin care, as Trailblazer of the Year. Bed Bath & Beyond was named the 2020 Innovator of the Year. And, H-E-B was named Urban Hydration’s 2020 Partner of the Year.
Urban Hydration also spotlighted Ken Surrite, founder of WaterisLife which is committed to providing communities with clean drinking water. Urban Hydration’s Give Good, Give Well, Give Life campaign donates one clean gallon of water for every product purchased by consumers. During the event, the company announced a $35,000 donation to the organization.
