TORONTO — The Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada (Neighbourhood Pharmacies) honored industry veterans John Tse and Jaiveer Singh during its chairman’s dinner event at the Pharmacy, Health and Beauty Expo 2017.

Tse, a longtime London Drugs executive who left the company this year, received the Len Marks Pharmacy Advancement Award. Singh, chief executive officer of Mint Pharmaceuticals Inc., was named distinguished associate of the year for 2017.

Tse, who most recently was vice president of pharmacy and cosmetics at London, also served the chain as a pharmacy manager, pharmacy operations manager and pharmacy buyer.

He began his pharmacy career as a technician, a position that led to a stint as a staff pharmacist. Neighbourhood Pharmacies lauded Tse for his commitment to pharmacy student education and training. He has assisted pharmacy and commerce students at the University of British Columbia, where he is a guest lecturer.

Singh has served as CEO at Mint Pharmaceuticals since 2014 and has been a member of the company’s board since 2010. Mint Pharmaceuticals has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing generic pharmaceutical companies in Canada.

Mint Pharmaceuticals is committed to delivering high-quality and affordable generic pharmaceuticals and health care solutions to Canadians. The company is an active supporter of pharmacy and community health care organizations across the country.
