CINCINNATI —  Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Severe are known for providing trusted coughing, aching, stuffy head, sore throat, fever medicine, and this year, they’ve upped the cool factor to vaporize your cold with new Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Severe with VapoCOOL.

These new products pair a soothing rush of Vicks Vapors, that will feel like a full-on body vapor hug, with the powerful symptom relief of DayQuil and NyQuil Severe. The goal is to help vaporize your worst symptoms so you can feel better. Vicks is also introducing VapoCOOL Severe Medicated Drops, which are stronger than any other leading cough drop brand, because they have the most menthol allowed in a throat drop.

“Vicks has been providing relief to people when they’re sick for nearly 125 years, and over that time, we’ve continually innovated to provide cough, cold and flu solutions that give people relief when they need it the most,” said Phil McWaters, brand franchise director, North America Vicks. “With VapoCOOL, we’ve taken it a step further by introducing the powerful combination of a rush of Vicks Vapors with DayQuil and NyQuil Severe, plus new VapoCOOL Severe Medicated Drops, to provide people with fast relief that will ripple through their senses.”

To celebrate the launch of this innovation, Vicks is bringing the sensorial and powerful rush of Vicks Vapors to life in New York City at the VapoCOOL Experience, open at 325 W. 37th Street on December 12 and 13 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and December 14 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (while the soup is hot and the vapors are cool).

The VapoCOOL Experience will feature a series of installations that will bring the “relief you can feel” mantra to life in a way that only Vicks can. Each sensorial element is inspired by the full body vapor rush of Vicks Vapors that people will find in DayQuil and NyQuil Severe with VapoCOOL. Visitors will get exclusive access to this can’t-miss moment during the heart of cough, cold and flu season, along with cool special guest appearances. Marisol Nichols, known for playing Hermione Lodge on the hit TV show “Riverdale,” is joining Vicks to officially open the VapoCOOL Experience to the public at a ribbon-cutting ceremony tomorrow, December 12.

“Like most people, I really don’t have time to be sick, especially around the holidays, which is why I’m so excited to be in New York City to spread the word about the Vicks VapoCOOL Experience,” said Marisol. “I look forward to seeing others come out to check out the coolest thing you can do to a treat a cough, cold or flu this season.”

Visitors of the VapoCOOL Experience in New York City will also be able to enjoy a bowl of steamy soup and play a game to potentially win cough, cold and flu essentials. They will also have the opportunity to enjoy a special meet-and-greet with champion figure skater and host of “Dancing with the Stars: Junior,” Adam Rippon, on December 13. In addition, people who stop by the experience can take advantage of special VapoCOOL Snapchat features while on-site.

The VapoCOOL Experience won’t last, so come check it out before it’s gone. For those who can’t make it in person, follow #VapoCOOL and the Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Instagram page for more information.
