Village Naturals Therapy commits to helping chronic pain sufferers

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.  – Village Naturals Therapy (VNT) has a long history of developing products that soothe sore muscles and joints associated with fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis and other chronic pain conditions. VNT is upping their commitment to chronic pain sufferers by becoming a “Proud Sponsor” of the National Fibromyalgia Association (NFA) and Community Pain Center (CPC) in addition to launching Village Warriors a Facebook support community.

NFA’s Proud Sponsor Program acknowledges companies’ products that are safe, effective and beneficial to the fibromyalgia and chronic pain community. VNT was designated a Proud Sponsor following testing and review of quality standards by NFA’s Patient Focus Group and Medical Advisors. The program enables NFA and CPC to implement new patient health programs and facilitate pain research. VNT’s desire to partner with these highly respected organizations will impact the level of help provided to people whose lives have been altered by chronic pain.

“We are looking forward to learning more about Village Naturals Therapy’s products that help people find comfort within their daily routine. As a proud sponsor of the NFA, we will also make sure the pain community is updated on how VNT’s sponsorship support is being used to help facilitate research and patient education. Everyone at the NFA is extremely thankful for VNT’s generous support and concern towards people in pain,” commented Lynne Matallana, founder of the National Fibromyalgia Association, and president and chief executive officer of Community Health Focus, Inc., the developer of the Community Pain Center.

“We are extremely honored to be an NFA and CPC Proud Sponsor,” said Michelle Hanson, director of marketing at The Village Company, VNT’s parent company. “We receive so many heartwarming stories and positive product comments from the chronic pain community. We are excited to be able to reach an even larger audience that may benefit from our products as well as help contribute to the organizations’ important efforts in both research and patient program development.”

In addition to their work with NFA and CPC, Village Naturals Therapy understands chronic pain sufferers need an outlet to share their concerns and hear success stories from others.
This month, Village Naturals Therapy will be launching Village Warriors, a Facebook community page for sharing concerns and tips for managing chronic pain. Village Warriors will lead discussion topics, offer giveaways and provide inspirational quotes and reference materials.
