DEERFIELD, Ill. — As Walgreen Co. brings Alliance Boots’ No7 skin care line to more stores, it has rolled out No7 Men items to all Walgreens and Duane Reade outlets.

Part of Great Britain’s top-selling skin care brand, No7 is one of the first lines to find its way onto Walgreens shelves after the companies formed a strategic partnership last summer.
Besides joining the mix in Walgreens and Duane Reade locations, the six-SKU line is being offered online at walgreens.com, drugstore.com and US.Boots.com.

“We know that there is a huge interest and need for great skin care options for men, and No7 is a brand with a rich heritage and proven science,” Boots Retail USA managing director Gordon Farquhar says. “We see this as the beginning of a successful partnership with Walgreens and look forward to introducing even more products for men from No7.”

Walgreens executives say the addition of the men’s skin care line will increase the drug chain’s ability to offer shoppers unique products.

“With the launch of No7 Men in our stores, we look forward to working with Boots to provide our customers with differentiated products, making Walgreens their first choice for health and daily living,” president of operations and community management Mark Wagner says. “These products highlight our commitment to help our male customers get, stay and live well.”

Wagner and other Walgreens executives note that by offering a broader array of men’s formulas the company is meeting a growing demand from male consumers for advanced skin care and other grooming items.

“No7 Men is an exciting opportunity to meet the expanding needs of our male customers,” divisional vice president and general merchandise manager for beauty, personal care and seasonal Shannon Curtin says.
