DEERFIELD, Ill.— When it comes to health and wellness, people’s needs are constantly evolving. Recently, consumers have turned to digital offerings more than ever before to address their personal health care needs.

In light of this, Walgreens and For Eyes teamed up to offer prescription eyeglasses through a new co-branded website For Eyes at Walgreens (walgreens.foreyes.com) that recently launched. The site carries a fashionable assortment of frames such as Ray-Ban, Oakley and Gucci, as well as in-house exclusive brands that offer high quality at affordable prices.

“Collaborating with For Eyes to offer prescription eyeglasses online allows Walgreens to deliver upon our company’s goal to be a one-stop destination for healthcare through a seamless, integrated customer experience in-store and digitally,” said Giovanni Monti, senior vice president for healthcare services at Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA). “For Eyes shares our dedication to providing high quality and affordable vision care in the communities we serve.”

Last November, in collaboration with Walgreens, For Eyes (a subsidiary of GrandVision), launched 10 optical service centers in the Chicago area. For Eyes has more than 100 locations in 11 U.S. states and Puerto Rico, and offers comprehensive eye exams and a full range of optical services lenses. It also accepts most vision insurance plans.

Customers can learn more plus take advantage of an introductory discount of 40% off lenses with a purchase of any frames by visiting walgreens.foreyes.com.
