DEERFIELD, Ill.— Kids of frontline workers have had to adjust to a new way of doing things during the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of its Caring for Each Other Initiative, Sesame Workshop – in partnership with Walgreens – is launching new bilingual resources for families of essential workers. That includes healthcare workers to grocery store employees, pharmacists to mail carriers and many more.

Since the end of April, Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind “Sesame Street, has been rolling out pandemic-related resources as part of its ongoing Caring For Each Other initiative to support families. These materials, built with monetary and collaborative support from Walgreens and AT&T, include videos, apps, instructional worksheets, printable activities and online games to help children express and manage their emotions as they and their families and caregivers stay healthy and adjust to a “for-now normal.”
