Walmart.com to offer H&BAs

BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Wal-Mart Stores Inc. has begun selling a wide assortment of H&BAs and personal care products online.

Thousands of top-selling nationally branded items have been added to Walmart.com’s selection. The shipping fee is 97 cents per item.

“Customers have long trusted Wal-Mart to provide the best values on health and beauty brands in our stores, and now they can also access these savings online at Walmart.com with the convenience of home delivery,” said Kelly Thompson, Walmart.com’s chief merchant. “By offering savings on our customers’ favorite health and beauty items online and in our stores, we can better help our customers shop the way they want.”

Examples of the new products online include Maybelline New York’s Colossal Classic Volum’ Express washable mascara for under $6; Procter & Gamble Co.’s Pampers Baby Dry in sizes 1 and 2, starting at 18 cents per diaper; Wyeth Consumer Healthcare’s Centrum multivitamins and 100-count chewable Dora the Explorer Centrum for Kids for under $10; and McNeil-PPC Inc.’s 24-count Sudafed Severe Cold multisymptom cap­lets for under $6.
